Questo programma nasce dalla volontà artistica del M° Péter Nagy, grande personalità musicale ungherese e ospite regolare di Virtuoso & Belcanto dall’edizione 2019. Nagy voleva presentare la sua lettura del Quintetto di Bartok, opera giovanile del grande compositore magiaro. Divisa in quattro movimenti, riprende le forme cicliche adottate da Liszt utilizzando un linguaggio che fonde una ricerca timbrica, melodica e ritmica di ispirazione popolare, l’inconfondibile stile bartokiano. L’ensemble che esegue il Quintetto di Bartok unisce alcuni artisti ospiti del Festival Virtuoso & Belcanto a due giovani musicisti selezionati fra gli iscritti ai corsi di perfezionamento. Ambedue già professionisti di rilievo (Gatuzz è primo violino solista dell’Orchestra di Aachen, mentre Dolfin è membro della Münchner Philharmoniker), chiudono il cerchio con attività svolte nella passata edizione del nostro Festival: Bálazs Dolfin è risultato fra i vincitori del Concerto Competition 2021, mentre del violinista venezuelano Benjamin Gatuzz, già primo violino dell’Orchestra Simon Bolivar con Gustavo Dudamel, riprende in termini musicali la giornata di studi sull’importanza della formazione musicale ed il suo valore sociale tenuta nell’edizione 2021 di Virtuoso & Belcanto.
Il Trio op. 99 di Franz Schubert completa la serata, capolavoro del Maestro viennese. Il Trio op.99 viene eseguito da un ensemble composto dall’incontro di tre straordinari musicisti.
This program originate from the artistic wish of the Maestro Péter Nagy, great Hungarian musical personality and regular guest of Virtuoso & Belcanto since 2019 edition.
Nagy wanted to present his reading of Bartok’s Quintet, a youth work by the great Hungarian composer. Divided into four movements, it incorporates the cyclic forms adopted by Liszt using a language that blends the tonal, melodic and rhythmic research from popular inspiration – the unmistakable Bartokian style.
The Bartok Quintet’s ensemble performers is composed by some Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival’s guest artists with two young musicians, selected from the enrolled in the specialization courses. Both are already important professionals (Gatuzz is first violinist soloist of the Aachen Orchestra, while Dolfin is a member of the Münchner Philharmoniker). With this performance they close the loop carried out in the past edition of our Festival: Bálazs Dolfin was among the winners of the Concerto Competition 2021, while the Venezuelan violinist Benjamin Gatuzz, former first violinist of the Simon Bolivar Orchestra with Gustavo Dudamel, resumes in musical terms the day of studies on the importance of musical training and its social value held in the 2021 edition of Virtuoso & Belcanto.
The Trio op. 99 by Franz Schubert completes the evening, masterpiece of the Viennese Master. Is performed by an ensemble created from close encounter of three extraordinary musicians.
